AnaVanderhurst1Ana Vanderhurst PhD, founder of Impact Life Coaching Group, has worked in the fields of social work, counseling, and coaching for over a decade. She holds a Doctorate degree in Philosophy – with an emphasis in Christian Counseling, a Masters of Arts in Human Services – with an emphasis in Executive Leadership, and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She graduated with High Distinction and Summa Cum Laude. Ana is a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, and the Tau Sigma National Honor Society. Other association affiliations include the American Counseling Association, the American Association of Christian Counselors, the International Christian Coaching Association, the Society for Christian Psychologists, the American Art Therapy Association (Florida Chapter), and William Glasser International. Ana is a Certified Christian Life Coach, and has also completed studies with Light University, holding an advanced diploma in Christian Counseling.


As a social worker and counselor, Ana has worked with orphaned children, children with special needs, homeless teenagers, families, and the elderly. She has led occupational therapy groups, provided group psychotherapy and counseling, offered assistance to low-income families who were living on welfare, and granted occasional aid in terms of clothes, food, and other basic necessities. Through her job, she has enhanced the well-being of and met basic needs for her clients, with a particular focus on empowering the people who were vulnerable, oppressed, and living in poverty. She successfully managed, coached, and supported staff and interns. As a life coach, Ana has assisted people in experiencing personal, professional, or spiritual change in order to achieve their life goals. She has coached people from all walks of life: from leaders of social services to CEO’s of big corporations, from busy professionals to stay-at-home moms, from international artists to well-known international Christian ministers. She has provided services to clients located worldwide.


Ana specializes in marriage and relationship coaching, women’s coaching, career coaching, and spiritual formation coaching. She also provides leadership coaching and executive coaching. Her approach in coaching is from a Christian, faith-based perspective, based on each client’s request. Coaching others in finding the calling of God in their lives, along with equipping them to impact the world around them is a passion in her life. Ana is also passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, and her desire is to empower her clients to achieve the vision they have for their lives, to accomplish their goals, and to live with greater clarity, focus, balance, joy, and impact.



Ana is also a humanitarian, and has dedicated her life to being involved in charitable work. Throughout the years, she has organized fundraisers and offered assistance to non-profit corporations in order to impact the lives of many people in need. She believes that her calling in life is to be “God’s hands and feet in a world that needs to be rescued from the pervasive effects of human depravity.” In addition, she loves animals, and is involved in animal rescue work. Her hobbies include traveling, reading and writing, singing and playing the guitar and piano.
